We evaluate your skin type and goals and determine appropriate settings and look to apply a numbing cream, although many people tolerate MOXI™ well without it.
During a MOXI™ treatment, the handpiece is glided over the skin as it delivers non-ablative fractional energy to create tiny microthermal zones that stimulate healing and collagen growth. A full-face session typically takes only 10–20 minutes.
Right after treatment, the skin may feel warm and slightly red, and over the next 3–5 days small dark “mends” rise to the surface and shed naturally. Most people can return to normal activities the same day or the next.
MOXI™ can be used anywhere on the face, neck, decolletage or body.
MOXI™ can be used to brighten dull complexions, shrink pore size, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and is even effective against sun damage, hyperpigmentation and melasma.
MOXI™ is usually combined with BBL® HEROic ™, which targets broke capillaries, redness and pigmentation, ClearSilk™ which targets lifting, firming and tightening of the skin alongside diffuse redness and melasma, or for a more punchy result, with HALO™ which targets deeper lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and melasma.
This treatment is carried out by an experienced practitioner.
MOXI™ should be performed as a series of 2-4 treatments depending on the patient needs, one per month and then a follow up every three to six months for the best results. The social downtime is around three days.
